Richland County has been my home for all of my life. Even after extensive travelling, I love the small and quiet community. While there is much to appreciate about living in rural areas, there is definitely a shortage of resources. This has become more apparent to me in my ten plus years of providing services. This is one of the reasons I opened New Day Counseling.
Other motivations for opening New Day Counseling include knowing personally, and professionally, how challenging life can be at times. New Day Counseling wants to guide others to lead the life they would like to live.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) I can help provide the tools for success. Another important aspect of success is the right environment, New Day Counseling realizes the need for a safe place to examine problems and personal struggles. The safe environment and the work done there is informed by research, practice and life experiences.
I am very thankful for my life experiences because I would not be where I am today without them. As hard as they were, they have given me strength, courage and wisdom.
I look forward to assisting you,
Sue Larson
